Features and Benefits

Ceramic and vinyl basement tiles leave basement floors cold. They contain no thermal break between the concrete of your floor and your living space. ThermalDry Basement Flooring has pegs on the back that raise the tiles from the basement floor, creating a thermal barrier which makes your basement floor 8 to 10 degrees warmer than tiles that are bonded directly to the floor.

ThermalDry® Basement Flooring also allows air to circulate underneath the tiles to allow any moisture to dry out. A vapor barrier and good air circulation are crucial components to your basement refinishing project.

Benefits and highlights include:

  • Fast and easy installation
  • Stain resistant
  • Plastic base material will not support mold or mildew
  • Interlocking design assures that damaged tiles can be easily replaced or removed
  • Air easily circulates underneath the tiles to allow any moisture to dry out
  • Won't warp, bow or delaminate like wood products
  • Variety of colors and styles to choose from. Available as subfloor tiles, carpeted tiles, and vinyl-faced tiles.

Sub-floor tiles are unfinished so that you can install wall-to-wall carpeting on top of it. By not having the carpet on the concrete (the sub-floor tiles have a special grid pattern underneath), it will be warmer, dryer, and better smelling, too!
